Free Knitting Pattern Materials

• 1440 meters (1600 yards) of a chunky weight yarn for the largest size.
• One pair of 4½ mm (US7) needles
• One pair of 6 mm (US10) or size need to obtain gauge.

Finished Bust/Chest Sizes
Small 42 inches, 107 cedi meters
Medium 45 inches, 114 cedi meters
Large 49 inches, 125 cedi meters
Extra Large 51 inches 130 cedi meters

Gauge 15 stitches = 4 inches (10cm) in stocking stitch on 6mm (US10) needles.

Chunky Sweater Free Knitting Pattern Back Instructions

**With 4½ millimeter needles cast on 80 (86-92-96) stitches. Work 6 rows in stocking stitch.

Change to 6 millimeters needles and continue in stocking stitch until work from beginning measures 16½ (16½-17-17) increase [42 (42-43~43) cm] ending with right side facing for next row.

Raglan shaping:

Cast off 2.(4-4-4) stitches at beginning of next 2 rows.
Next row: Knit2. slip next 2 stitches onto a cable needle and leave at back of work. (Knit together one stitch from needle and one Stitch from cable needle) twice.
